“Ego Decimation Profile” was Michael's first solo instrumental CD released after his '94 move to Dallas, TX.

The ’96 album displayed more depth in Michael’s compositions (“Julius Seizure” being a stand out track, which has been a staple in Michael’s live set ever since), exceptional musicianship (including Keith Carlock of Steely Dan on drums) and garnered Michael yet more critical acclaim via a dazzling display of “progressive rock and flawless speed & technique with compelling melody lines”
