Shortly after relocating to Dallas, TX in 1994, Michael recruited musicians Matt Thompson (King Diamond), James Martin (Solitude Aeternus), Len Jarrell (Unleashed Power), and put together his first real metal band SURGEON.

“Encyclopedia of the Insane” was soon born and released in 1996. “EOTI” features some of Michael’s most brutal song riffs & incendiary solos ever. Not for the timid.
